Making use of an existing building on Fowler Avenue in Tampa and expanding to create a 32,000 square-foot educational facility, the Brooks DeBartolo Charter High School continues to serve as an academic environment  for students of Hillsborough County.  Providing a new second floor, classrooms, science labs, art and dance studios, media centers, library and administrative offices, the facility’s interiors create an atmosphere that accommodates a rigorous yet learning-friendly setting.  The modifications and additions to the exterior were given a focus of accessibility for pedestrian traffic as well as proximity to public transportation to support the building’s incorporation into the surrounding community.
